The Google Analytics team recently announced that the Google Analytics user interface will no longer be officially compatible with Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) at the end of the year. This means that while you can still continue to use IE8 to view Google Analytics reports moving forward, some features may not work properly. They decided to make this decision based on similar moves by the AdWords and Google Apps teams, as well as Microsoft itself dropping support for IE8 in their Office 365 and Office 2013 products.
